Is PrizeRebel legit? It is a huge name in the online survey scene, and the members are growing by the day. It’s one of the better survey sites and definitely one of the most popular for sure, and in this review, I will explain exactly why that is.

Taking paid surveys online is a legitimate way to make extra money while doing relatively easy work, which doesn’t require any special skills or experience. If you find a decent one that is. There are many bad ones online, trust me when I say I’ve tried and tested many of these myself. I have good knowledge about these sites, and what they’re all about, and the best ones to avoid.

I must be honest, you won’t make millions with online survey sites, but you can easily make extra $350-1000 per month (the total income depends on how many survey sites you subscribe for!). It’s not bad at all taking into consideration the job itself. The more survey sites you join, the higher are chances that you’ll receive at least a few surveys per week.

With PrizeRebel, you don’t have to wait for a email to arrive inviting you to complete a survey like others, you can visit the site at any time and try one of their many options to make some money.

When I was jobless, I spent a lot of time shifting through the good and the bad of these type of sites, hoping to earn some extra money to make life that little bit easier financially. Even the good survey sites can be frustrating, the qualifying process takes patience. You may only qualify for one survey out of eight, even then you might be kicked out if your profile doesn’t match the survey.

The key is to shut off mentally for any an hour or two and consistently try them. I would put my music on, shut-off and just focus on surveys for a few hours. This way you will get together a run of completed surveys and the money soon builds up.

You will never become rich from these, you’re being paid to answer questions from the comfort of your home. It is what it is, some additional money to help you out.

What is PrizeRebel?

Is-PrizeRebel-legit?

PrizeRebel is a site where you can earn points for completing surveys, offers and watching videos. The points you earn from completing one of these tasks can be converted into giftcards or cash paid directly into you PayPal account.

There’s a huge 504 giftcards to choose from! (Examples of the different retailers is further down).

They also run regular competitions such as raffles and lucky numbers where members can win additional points.

PrizeRebel has over 10 million members and is growing by the day. As you can see they’re very popular online with members earning a massive £21 million since the company open its virtual doors back in 2007.  PrizeRebel has big numbers and they’re always growing.

This website is suited to all devices, although I use a laptop or my phone.

When you earn a certain amount of points, you can level up a tier, the higher to you go the more benefits you will receive as a member. You can see an example of these levels below:

Now, let’s break down PrizeRebel and go into more detail of the website.

Surveys

PrizeRebel will email you surveys, but you can attempt to complete one from the website at any time. There is a wide variety of surveys to choose from, all varying with a different range of points to earn. Below is an example of some of the surveys available:

PrizeRebel survey

PrizeRebel survey 1

You can expect to earn 75 points for completing a survey from the standard ‘Your Survey Daily Survey’ router or 85 points for completing one from the ‘Samplicio.us Daily Surveys’, but you can earn more than that depending on what surveys are available at the time. I regularly see surveys with 150+ points available.

To put this into context, the cheapest PayPal voucher at $5 will cost you 500 points.

Once you qualify for a survey, the average time to complete one is 10 – 15 minutes. The more surveys you complete, the better your quality score will become, meaning you will qualify for more surveys.

It’s a frustrating process sometimes, and as mentioned before, you might only qualify for one out of eight attempts, or you could qualify for more. It all depends on what surveys your profile matches at the time.

The surveys can be a varied range of subjects, from children’s TV shows to mobile phones. The survey can literally be about any subject.

Offer walls

The offer walls have a wide range of various ways to make money. You can earn points for playing games, new customer offers with online companies, placing a bet, online casino, the list goes on. Below is the offer walls that are available:

Again, the amount you can earn depends on the offer. These can pay out good money for a particular offer, such as casino.

Below is an example of the offers available to complete:

When you select an offer, it will direct you to an external website, then once you complete the offer, the points earned will track back to your PrizeRebel account.

Offers are good for doing in-between completing surveys, to bump up your earnings.

Videos

You can earn points by watching videos. Although, the points you would receive for this is low, so you would need to decide if it’s worth your time.

Below is categories of the videos available to watch:

To watch videos, you will be diverted to an external website called Hideout TV. From here you can watch short videos on various subjects, and these videos have ads.

Below is example of the videos you can watch:

You cannot skip the video and must watch the video in full. Again, these are low paid, so don’t expect much in return.

Competitions

1. Raffles

PrizeRebel run daily raffles, where you can enter for a chance to win a prize such as an Amazon $10 giftcard. These cost just 10 points each to enter and you can buy up to 1000 tickets.

This competition is a weekly lottery, where it costs 20 points to enter and you h

ave to pick four numbers. The winning numbers can expect to an amount of 1500 points.

2. Survey contest

To participate in this contest all you need to do is complete and earn the most points from surveys within the contest period. The more surveys you complete, the more likely chance you are to win the top prize! Members can expect to win 1000 points for first prize and 900 points for second. This goes down to the top 12 and the points reduce as it gets further down to the bottom.

3. Offerwall contest

To participate in this contest all you need to do is complete and earn the most points from offers within the offer walls within the contest period. The more Offer Wall offers you complete, the more likely chance you are to win the top prize! Members can expect to win 1000 points for first prize and 900 points for second. Payment/Reward store

Your points can be redeemed into giftcards or cash. The minimum withdrawal for cash is a $5 PayPal payment, which is 500 points. The highest PayPal payment voucher is $100 which will cost you 10,000 points. For people from countries not using the $, don’t worry PayPal will convert the cash into your national currency.

Below is an example of just a few of the giftcards available when you redeem your points:

So, all you need to complete is 4 – 6  surveys (depending on the points of those surveys), before requesting your earnings to be paid to you by PayPal payment or giftcard. You can expect the payment to hit your PayPal account within 24 hours or 10 minutes for Gold members or higher.

There is 504 giftcards in total to choose from and they vary from Amazon, Argos, Footlocker and various other big-name retailers. The giftcards vary in price, and so do the points it takes to purchase them.

When I was completing surveys and offers from this site, I preferred the cash by PayPal option

Is PrizeRebel legit?

It certainly is, I have earned and redeemed many $5 and $10 payments into my PayPal account from them. They are massive player in the online survey scene and have a huge number of members who have earned a massive £21 million from them since 2007.

Is PrizeRebel Legit? Final thoughts

PrizeRebel is a very good site to earn money. Although, with survey sites like this, you will never become rich. It is what it is, a way to earn some extra money on the side. With some effort you could easily earn $100+ a month from this site.

Like me, put some music on, shut off from the world and completing surveys don’t seem so mundane. You can complete all different types of offers such as playing games if the surveys become too boring. The money soon starts to build up. It’s never going to be exciting, but your being paid to answer questions from the comfort of your home.
